Damian has been building furniture for over twenty years now! He started out building all-steel furniture like beds and nightstands. Over time, he became very intrigued with "boxes." He loved working with steel and wanted to keep using the material. He discovered that creating a structure from steel while incorporating wood elements for panels and drawers created a great balance of form, function and beauty.

He built his first dresser in 2001, "The Don't Fall Down," that became an iconic, signature piece. We own the original prototype and it continues to serve a beautiful purpose for our son (filled with jeans, t-shirts, socks...)
